Ø      Specification, design approval and construction management of two Robert Allan designed 30m, 55 T bollard pull (BP), FiFi 1 ASD tugs with “Escort Notation” built at a yard in the PR China.

Ø      Management of the construction, trials and delivery of five new build towage vessels from Dutch builder Damen Shipyards at the Song Cam shipyard in Haiphong Vietnam.  Three 70 T BP Damen 2411’s and two 60T BP Damen 2810’s.

Ø      Sourcing new build designs and shipyards for double hull bunker barges to replace older single hull vessels.

EMS has extensive experience in specifying low maintenance systems and other design features such as complete elimination of salt water cooling from the machinery spaces to minimise maintenance costs and maximise vessel reliability.
